Analysis of Scheelite Ore Dressing Methods and Mineral Processing Equipment

Scheelite is one of the most important tungsten ore whose specific gravity is 6.1, and flotation is the main beneficiation method, but the gravity separation is also adopted according to the actual situation. Here we give a introduction to the beneficiation and beneficiation equipment of scheelite according to the nature of the scheelite tungsten ore.
 
Scheelite in China generally has fine-grained dissemination size with low content, so it needs fine grinding in order to separate the useful minerals and waste rock monomer, but the fine ground mineral is difficult beneficiated by gravity separator. So it can only depend on flotation beneficiation. Forui has developed mature flotation technology with ideal beneficiation indicators, however the flotation brings environmental pollution, and the flotation equipment investment and operating costs is much higher than gravity separator.
 
We found that the scheelite ore samples brought by foreign customers has big dissemination size, some even can reach 30mm or larger. For this coarse-grained disseminated scheelite ore, flotation is not a good way of beneficiation. Crushing and jigging separation, instead, is a workable way to deal with it with all beneficiation indicators better than the flotation, besides, it need less  investment and lower operating costs.
 
The specific gravity of scheelite is 6.1 and proportion of its associated gangue is not more than 3, so the simple and efficient grinding is the best way to get the useful minerals and gangue monomer separated, then use jig concentrator to beneficiate it to get the finishing ore and tailings, avoiding the the damage of tungsten ore crystle in milling process, saving costs. In a word, choose the right beneficiation method in scheelite ore dressing.
